Singapore-based renewable energy developer Vena Group has launched Vena Nexus, a dedicated subsidiary to develop green data centers across Asia-Pacific, with a focus on Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan.
As demand for energy surges with the rise of AI, Vena Nexus is actively engaging with ten leading technology companies from the US and Asia to create large-scale data facilities powered entirely by clean energy. These data centers will address the growing needs for high-performance computing infrastructure while staying aligned with sustainability goals.
Simone Grasso, Global Head of Vena Nexus and CIO of Vena Group, highlighted the increasing power needs since the AI boom of 2023 and the company’s goal to meet this demand responsibly.
Vena Nexus inherits a robust pipeline of 3 GW of data center developments from its renewables arm, Vena Energy, which has already delivered over 38 GW of solar and wind projects. The new venture aims to build and operate next-generation digital infrastructure that is both scalable and environmentally conscious.
