Lupin Limited, a global pharmaceutical leader, has announced the appointment of Punita Lal as an Additional Director (Non-Executive, Independent) to its Board of Directors. With over 35 years of cross-functional experience in strategy, marketing, and leadership across Asia, Punita brings deep industry insight and governance expertise to Lupin’s board.
She has held senior roles at Coca-Cola China and PepsiCo India and served as Managing Director & CEO of NourishCo, a joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and PepsiCo. Since transitioning from executive leadership, Punita has advised SMEs and become a certified leadership coach.
Her boardroom experience spans reputed organizations including DBS Bank, Carlsberg A.S., Cipla, CEAT, and Entertainment Network India. She has been recognized as one of India’s Top 20 Businesswomen by Business Today and as Corporate Woman of the Year by FICCI.
An alumna of St. Stephen’s College and IIM Kolkata, Punita’s appointment reflects Lupin’s continued commitment to board diversity and strategic excellence.
