Abu Dhabi Unveils Ambitious Vision to Become World’s First AI-Native Government by 2027

Abu Dhabi is setting a new global standard for governance with the launch of its Government Digital Strategy 2025–2027, aiming to become the world’s first fully AI-native government. With an investment exceeding AED 13 billion, this bold initiative goes beyond digitization—ushering in a transformative era of predictive, personalized, and autonomous public services.

By 2027, 100% of government processes will be automated, powered by a sovereign AI cloud infrastructure. Citizens and businesses can expect proactive services—healthcare check-ups scheduled in advance, tailored education pathways, and instant business licensing—all delivered seamlessly without the need for human interaction.

Strategic alliances with Microsoft, G42, MBZUAI, and ATRC are accelerating this transformation. Already, platforms like TAMM 3.0 are delivering over 73% of services autonomously, while more than 200 AI use cases are being deployed across sectors.

The economic and social impact is equally significant: projected AED 24 billion GDP growth, 5,000 new jobs, and 1,000+ AI startups by 2027, making Abu Dhabi a magnet for global AI talent and innovation.

This visionary shift positions Abu Dhabi at the forefront of GovTech leadership and AI-driven public sector transformation.
