Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has appointed Dr. Vivek Mittal as its new Executive Director – Legal and Corporate Affairs. He will oversee corporate governance, legal strategy, and compliance, ensuring HUL’s continued leadership in regulatory excellence. He succeeds Dev Bajpai, who has been instrumental in shaping HUL’s legal and corporate affairs.
Dr. Mittal brings extensive expertise in corporate law, compliance, and regulatory strategy. Prior to joining HUL, he served as Global General Counsel at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, leading legal, compliance, and regulatory functions across global markets. He has also held senior legal positions at Danaher Corporation, Lupin, Reliance Retail, and Radico Khaitan Limited, specializing in M&A, corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory affairs.
A PhD holder from Chaudhary Charan Singh University and a qualified Company Secretary from ICSI, Dr. Mittal’s leadership will strengthen HUL’s legal framework and governance practices.
