GE HealthCare has appointed Vivasvan Shastri as its new Vice President of Engineering, reinforcing its commitment to advancing medical technology and digital healthcare solutions. With over two decades of experience in cloud platforms, AI-driven systems, and global engineering leadership, Shastri will play a pivotal role in scaling innovation and driving engineering excellence at GE HealthCare.
Previously, Shastri served as VP of Engineering and India Site Lead at SentinelOne, where he contributed to cybersecurity innovation and engineering expansion. Before that, he spent over a decade at Cisco, leading AI/ML adoption, SaaS development, and CX Cloud solutions. His career also includes leadership roles at NetApp, Yahoo!, Hewlett-Packard, Philips, and NXP Semiconductors, where he drove product strategy and software development across global markets.
As a certified AWS Solutions Architect, Design Thinking Practitioner, and Gallup Strengths Coach, Shastri is dedicated to building high-performance engineering teams. At GE HealthCare, he will lead digital health initiatives, intelligent medical device innovation, and global R&D efforts.
