JSW Energy Ltd has appointed Industry Veteran Vijay Ingole as Vice President and Head of Plant at its Ratnagiri Thermal Power Plant, a vital asset in the company’s thermal power portfolio. Vijay will spearhead efforts to boost operational efficiency, sustainability, and safety at the facility.
With over 25 years of experience in coal-based power generation and cement manufacturing, Vijay has held senior leadership roles at Vedanta Limited (Aluminium Business), Talwandi Sabo Power Plant, and Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO). He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Nagpur University and an MBA from IMT Gurgaon.
Before joining JSW Energy, Vijay was Deputy COO – Plant Operations at Vedanta Ltd, Jharsuguda, where he led several innovation-driven initiatives. At JSW Energy, he will focus on improving PLF, Specific Heat Rate, and Auxiliary Power Consumption, while strengthening Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance.
