Tenneco India has named Arvind Chandra as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a strategic leadership move to strengthen the company’s presence in the Indian automotive components market. With over 30 years of global leadership experience, Chandra has held key roles at renowned organizations including Spark Minda, ZF Group, Faurecia, Delphi, and Aliaxis.
Chandra’s appointment underscores Tenneco’s commitment to expanding its core verticals—Clean Air, Monroe Ride Solutions, Champion Ignition, and Powertrain technologies—in India. His extensive expertise in business transformation, smart manufacturing, and autonomous technology positions him as the ideal leader to accelerate Tenneco India’s next phase of growth.
Prior to this, Chandra served as CEO of Aliaxis India, where he successfully managed large-scale operations and delivered substantial revenue growth. He also provided strategic counsel to startups and Fortune 500 companies through his Germany-based consulting firm. At Tenneco, he will focus on scaling operations, advancing customer engagement, and making India a global hub for manufacturing excellence.
