IndusInd Bank has appointed Santosh Kumar as its Deputy Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CFO), entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the finance and accounts function until a permanent CFO is named. A seasoned finance leader with over 20 years of experience across taxation, accounting, cost control, and financial reporting, Santosh steps into the role during a crucial phase as the bank sharpens its focus on enhancing financial governance.
Santosh previously served as Chief Accountant at IndusInd Bank and has now also been designated as a Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). His elevation reflects the bank’s commitment to reinforcing fiscal oversight following recent accounting challenges.
Prior to joining IndusInd, he led financial reporting at ICICI Bank and was associated with PwC, where he worked extensively on regulatory compliance, internal controls, and audit preparedness. A qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, Santosh brings a strong blend of technical expertise and strategic insight, well-positioned to support IndusInd Bank’s pursuit of financial stability and transparency.
