Wadhwani Foundation has welcomed Gopal Devanahalli as President, Skilling, where he will lead global initiatives to enhance workforce readiness and drive economic growth. With over 30 years of leadership experience across IT services, software, BPO, healthcare, education, telecom, and consumer industries, he brings deep expertise to this critical role.
Previously, Devanahalli served as Group President – Strategy & Business Development at Manipal Global Education & Medical Group, CEO at Manipal Education Americas, LLC, and MeritTrac Services. He was also an Independent Board Member at Infosys BPM, chairing the Audit and NRC committees.
An alumnus of IIM Calcutta and BITS Pilani, he has also completed the Corporate Director Certificate from Harvard Business School. Expressing his enthusiasm, he highlighted the importance of skilling in today’s evolving job market. Meanwhile, Ajay Kela will continue leading the Wadhwani Innovation Network, while Devanahalli focuses on driving strategic skilling programs worldwide.
