Amity University Mumbai has announced the elevation of Prof. (Dr.) Bhawna Sharma Padroo to the role of Professor and Director International Affairs & Programmes and Chief Mentor of the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell). With over 20 years of experience in academia and administration, Dr. Sharma brings strategic insight, international exposure, and leadership to her expanded role.
Since joining Amity in 2010, Dr. Sharma has held several impactful positions, including Professor at Amity Business School and Officiating Director & HoI at Amity Business School Mumbai. Her work has spanned business administration, academic leadership, and entrepreneurship education.
She began her career as a Clinical Specialist at BBraun and Product Manager at Bio-Rad Laboratories before transitioning into academia. A PhD holder in Biotech Management from Amity University, Dr. Sharma continues to drive innovation, global partnerships, and student empowerment through entrepreneurial initiatives.
Her elevation reflects Amity’s commitment to fostering global academic excellence and nurturing future leaders.
