Intel Corporation (Nasdaq: INTC) has welcomed Lip-Bu Tan as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective. A seasoned technology leader with deep expertise in semiconductors, Tan brings decades of experience in driving innovation and business transformation.
Previously, Tan served as CEO of Cadence Design Systems, where he led the company’s turnaround, doubling its revenue and increasing its stock price by over 3,200%. He is also the founding Managing Partner of Walden Catalyst Ventures and Chairman of Walden International, further cementing his influence in the global tech landscape.
Tan’s strategic vision and leadership have earned him the Robert N. Noyce Award, the Semiconductor Industry Association’s highest honor. His appointment marks a significant step in Intel’s journey to regain market leadership, strengthen its technology roadmap, and accelerate innovation.
