Honda cars india ltd has announced the appointment of Takashi Nakajima as the new President & CEO of Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), effective April 1, 2025. With over 30 years of experience, Nakajima has held key leadership roles across Japan, China, Spain, Czech Republic, and Russia in Business Planning, Product Planning, Marketing, and Sales Promotion.
Before his new role, he served as the President of Honda Motor Russia, overseeing strategic initiatives in marketing and corporate communication. Additionally, he played a crucial role in Product Planning and Marketing for Honda’s automobile business in Japan, focusing on innovation and market expansion.
Nakajima’s extensive global experience positions him to drive Honda’s growth in India, focusing on premium mobility, electrification, and customer-centric strategies. As he takes over from Takuya Tsumura, Nakajima is expected to lead Honda Cars India into its next phase of innovation and expansion.
