The Trade Desk has appointed Vivek Kundra as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective March 31. In this role, he will lead global operations and drive operational excellence across the company.
\r\n\r\nKundra brings extensive leadership experience, having previously served as the first Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the U.S. Government (2009-2011). During his tenure, he spearheaded cloud adoption, strengthened cybersecurity, and launched open government initiatives that gained global recognition.
\r\n\r\nHe later played a key role at Salesforce as Executive Vice President, Industries, where he led a strategic transformation focusing on industry-specific cloud solutions. Kundra also held COO positions at Sprinklr and project44, further solidifying his expertise in scaling technology businesses.
