Hitesh Sood Joins Sony Pictures Networks India as Vice President & Head - B2B Subscription & Partnerships (Digital Business)

Hitesh Sood has been appointed as Vice President & Head - B2B Subscription and Partnerships (Digital Business) at Sony Pictures Networks India. In this role, he will lead SonyLIV’s global distribution, strengthen strategic partnerships, and enhance customer engagement through collaborations with telcos, banks, and content aggregators.

Before joining Sony, Hitesh served as Marketing Director at Renna Mobile (Omantel subsidiary), driving market expansion. Prior to that, he was Head of Digital Content Business at Grameenphone Ltd., where he successfully scaled OTT content, music, and gaming services, increasing monthly active users (MAU) fourfold.

With leadership experience at Globacom, Vodafone Idea, and Reliance Communications, Hitesh has expertise in digital marketing, customer acquisition, and strategic alliances. An MBA graduate in International Business from IIFT, he specializes in digital content monetization and market expansion.

His appointment underscores Sony Pictures Networks India’s commitment to scaling its digital business and strengthening leadership in the streaming industry.
