Sonal Sinha has been appointed as the CEO of G6 Hospitality LLC following OYO’s acquisition of the American motel chain from Blackstone Real Estate. A chartered accountant by profession, Sinha has been a key part of OYO since 2015, most recently serving as CFO of International Business. His expertise in financial strategy, business optimization, and operational efficiency will be instrumental in integrating G6 Hospitality’s portfolio into OYO’s growing North American presence.
OYO completed the acquisition of G6 Hospitality in December 2024, adding 1,500 franchised hotels across the U.S. and Canada. This strategic move significantly strengthens OYO’s footprint in the region, with the combined entity projected to generate $3 billion in gross booking value, of which G6 Hospitality contributes $1.7 billion.
Under Sinha’s leadership, OYO aims to drive synergies, enhance guest experiences, and expand market reach in the highly competitive hospitality industry. His appointment marks a pivotal moment in OYO’s global growth strategy.
