AI-driven quick commerce startup KiranaPro, fully integrated with ONDC, has announced the onboarding of Arjun Vaidya, cofounder of V3 Ventures and renowned D2C entrepreneur, as an investor and mentor.
Vaidya will strategically support KiranaPro’s expansion by fostering partnerships with D2C brands and strengthening its AI-powered platform. Founder and CEO Deepak Ravindran called Vaidya’s involvement a major milestone, emphasizing how his experience in building consumer trust will accelerate the company’s nationwide ambitions.
Founded in 2024 by Ravindran and Dipankar Sarkar, KiranaPro offers AI tools to neighbourhood stores, bypassing traditional dark store models. The startup targets onboarding one million kirana stores and serving 100 million customers by year-end.
Arjun Vaidya praised KiranaPro’s mission to digitally empower India’s trusted retail format. Recent milestones include investment from PV Sindhu, acquisition of hyperlocal app Joper, and a partnership with ZuperAI to enhance inventory optimization through “Matchmaking AI.”
Currently active across 35 cities with 30,000+ kirana stores, KiranaPro is rapidly scaling within India’s $9.95 billion quick commerce market.
