A seasoned banking leader with more than 27 years of experience, Mr. Shah joins the AU family with extensive expertise across SME lending, trade finance, product development, and strategic banking initiatives.
Mr. Shah’s distinguished career includes senior leadership roles at ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and YES BANK, where he served as Senior Group President & Country Head – SME Banking. During his tenure, he successfully led national-level initiatives in ESG finance, startup funding, and business equipment finance, solidifying his reputation as a transformative leader in the commercial banking domain.
In his new role, Mr. Shah will spearhead AU Small Finance Bank’s commercial banking division, with a sharp focus on scaling SME solutions, deepening customer engagement, and driving innovation-led growth. His appointment marks a strategic step forward in AU’s mission to empower businesses across India.
