Mumbai, India – April 2025: YES BANK has announced the appointment of Ajay Rajan as Country Head - Transaction Banking, Government, MNC & New Economy Business, IFSC Branch & Knowledge Unit. In this strategic leadership role, he will be responsible for driving the bank’s transaction banking operations, expanding multinational and government banking partnerships, and spearheading new economy initiatives.
With over seven years at YES BANK, Rajan has held multiple key positions, most recently serving as Country Head - Government, MNC & International Business, Transaction Banking & Knowledge Units. His expertise in knowledge banking, fintech, and digital transformation has significantly contributed to the bank’s growth and innovation in corporate banking services.
Prior to YES BANK, Rajan spent over 21 years at Deutsche Bank, where he held leadership roles including Global Head of Fintech and Head of MNC Business – India. He is also a Board Member at IBBIC (Indian Bank Blockchain Infrastructure Company) and has served on the Digital Lending Committee at Fintech Convergence Council.
With a proven track record in transaction banking and financial innovation, Rajan’s appointment is expected to further strengthen YES BANK’s market position in corporate and multinational banking.
