Shalimar Paints has appointed Kuldip Raina as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) for a three-year term, subject to shareholder approval. The appointment, approved by the Board of Directors and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, signals a strategic move to reinforce leadership and innovation at India’s oldest paint brand.
Raina, who joined Shalimar Paints in May 2022 as Director – Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Sourcing, brings over 30 years of diverse industry experience. He has held key leadership roles at Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd, Jubilant Pharmova Ltd, Arvind Fashions Ltd, and ITC Ltd.
Previously, he served as CEO of Nerofix Private Limited, a Kansai Nerolac subsidiary, leading its adhesives and construction chemicals business. At Shalimar, Raina has played a vital role in driving brand growth, enhancing customer engagement, and accelerating market transformation. His appointment is set to steer Shalimar Paints toward innovation, profitability, and industry leadership.
