Veteran industry leader Vikas Kaushal has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) for a five-year tenure. His appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) based on the recommendation of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG). Under his leadership, HPCL aims to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and energy sector innovation.
Kaushal brings decades of industry experience, having served as Managing Director & Country Head of Kearney India for five years. He was also a two-time elected member of Kearney’s Global Board of Directors, contributing to finance, audit, and governance committees. As Global Leader for Energy and Process Industries, he has worked with leading oil & gas companies worldwide, offering deep expertise in energy and business transformation.
His vast experience and strategic vision are expected to strengthen HPCL’s position in India’s dynamic energy landscape.
