Dr. Sumit D. Chowdhury has been appointed as a Non-Executive Independent Director on the Board of Directors at Goodyear India Ltd — a globally recognized brand known for its groundbreaking innovations in mobility technology, from Moon-landing tyres to Formula-1 race cars and airplanes.
With over 25 years of experience in Global Consulting, Digital Transformation, AI Technologies, ESG, and GCC, Dr. Chowdhury brings invaluable insights to his new role. His expertise will play a key role in guiding Goodyear India’s growth strategy under the leadership of newly appointed Managing Director, Arvind Bhandari.
This appointment marks Dr. Chowdhury’s association with his fifth 100+ year-old organization, joining his impressive portfolio that includes Philips, Carnegie Mellon, KPMG, and IBM.
In addition to Goodyear India, Dr. Chowdhury also serves on the boards of ABM Knowledgeware Ltd, TEXMiN at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, and BARC India (MDPL Subsidiary).
