GSK has appointed Sumit Harwani as Senior Director - Global Experience Owner - Talent & Learning, where he will lead the design and execution of talent, learning, and capability development experiences. His focus will be on human-centric processes and digital transformation to enhance employee growth journeys at the global biopharma company.
Previously, Sumit served as Global Head of Learning and Talent Development at John Crane (Smiths Group), where he played a key role in establishing a global learning ecosystem, launching talent frameworks, and driving digital HR transformation. His expertise includes implementing unified employee experience platforms and managing complex HRIS landscapes.
Before that, Sumit was Associate Director - Human Capital Advisory at Deloitte, leading HR transformation, talent acquisition, and employee experience initiatives. He also worked as Global HR Transformation Consultant at Syngenta, overseeing major global programs in payroll, workforce planning, and compensation.
With an MBA in HR from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, Sumit brings deep expertise in HR tech, workforce planning, and leadership development.
