Airtel Africa Appoints Kamal Dua as Chief Financial Officer

Airtel Africa has appointed Kamal Dua as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective after the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in July 2025. He succeeds Jaideep Paul, who will transition to a new role within the Bharti Group.

With over 15 years at Airtel, Kamal has played a key role in financial strategy, corporate governance, and business transformation. His expertise in financial planning, risk management, and operational efficiency makes him well-equipped to drive Airtel Africa’s growth and profitability.

Before joining Airtel, Kamal held leadership positions at Bacardi, Tata Teleservices, and Idea Cellular Ltd., where he contributed significantly to business expansion and financial excellence. In his new role, he will focus on enhancing financial performance, optimizing cost structures, and supporting Airtel Africa’s long-term strategic goals.
