Novo Nordisk has elevated Rishang Deoras to Global Director – Diabetes Commercial Unit, strengthening its global leadership in diabetes care. With nearly 15 years of experience across pharmaceuticals and FMCG, Rishang brings a dynamic blend of strategic insight and brand stewardship to the role.

At Novo Nordisk, he has been instrumental in leading global marketing, commercial operations, and brand lifecycle management for breakthrough therapies like Ozempic®, Rybelsus®, and Wegovy™. His prior roles as Head of the Diabetes Therapeutic Area and Global Marketing Manager highlight his impact on innovation, access, and business scaling.

Before joining Novo Nordisk, Rishang spearheaded marketing for AstraZeneca’s Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic therapies and played a major role for the growth of Horlicks® at GSK Consumer Healthcare India. He began his journey at Zydus Cadila, building a foundation in integrated marketing and P&L leadership.

As he takes on this expanded global role, Rishang is poised to further accelerate Novo Nordisk’s mission to advance diabetes care worldwide.
