Pratt & Whitney has appointed Ashish Saraf as Vice President and Country Head – India, where he will spearhead the company’s strategic initiatives across growth, engineering, supply chain, customer service, and digital transformation. With over 20 years of leadership experience across aerospace, defence, biometrics, and manufacturing, Saraf brings deep domain expertise to the role.
Before joining Pratt & Whitney, Saraf served as Vice President and Country Director for Thales India, leading its aerospace, defence, biometrics, and cybersecurity operations. He also held leadership roles at Airbus, playing a pivotal role in the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
Saraf was instrumental in setting up the TATA SIKORSKY AEROSPACE LIMITED JV and has served on the board of the Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council. His appointment reflects Pratt & Whitney’s strong focus on expanding its Indian footprint.
