Rohal Technologies’ Invention Could Redefine Energy in Disaster and War Zones

In a significant leap toward energy resilience, Rohal Technologies has developed a groundbreaking hybrid power system that could redefine how energy is delivered in some of the world’s harshest and most critical environments. Backed by a $1 million seed investment from Finvolve, India Accelerator’s multi-stage VC fund, the startup is poised to scale its production and innovation.

Rohal Technologies’ core breakthrough lies in its Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC)-based hybrid power systems, designed to operate efficiently in high-altitude and extreme weather zones. These systems offer a clean, portable alternative to diesel generators and are capable of running on multiple fuels—LPG, CNG, and biogas. Their robust design has already earned deployment by India’s elite forces including the Army, NSG, CRPF, and BSF

Tested at altitudes over 18,000 feet and temperatures as low as -35°C, the systems have proven their performance under real-world conditions. With a patent pending on its hybrid power management technology, Rohal is collaborating with DRDO, BEL, and other state agencies to further co-develop frontier energy solutions.

“Our mission is to enable zero-emission, mission-critical power where India needs it most,” said Karamvir Singh, CEO & Founder. This innovation could set new standards in energy portability and defence readiness.
