Daifuku Intralogistics India has announced the elevation of Asim Behera as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Behera takes over from Srinivas Garimella, who now assumes the role of Chairman of the Board.
With an extensive background in automation and intralogistics, Behera previously served as President of Daifuku India. Before joining Daifuku in 2023, he held a leadership role at Coupang as Senior Director - Automation (Intralogistics), showcasing his expertise in driving operational efficiency and innovation.
Under his leadership, Daifuku Intralogistics India will continue to focus on Efficient, Reliable, and Accurate (ERA) material handling solutions, fostering the adoption of automation across India’s growing manufacturing sector.
Speaking on the appointment, Naoyuki Andou stated, “Asim’s commitment and expertise have been instrumental in Daifuku’s journey. His leadership marks a new chapter of innovation and growth for the company.”
This transition signals Daifuku India’s strategic focus on cutting-edge intralogistics solutions and industry leadership
