Apptronik has secured $350 million in Series A funding to accelerate the development and production of its humanoid robot, Apollo. The funding round was backed by B Capital, Google, and Capital Factory, marking a significant milestone in the advancement of humanoid robotics.
CEO Jeff Cardenas highlighted the company’s vision, stating, “We’re creating the world’s most advanced and capable humanoid robots, designed to work alongside humans in meaningful ways.” With strategic partnerships, including NASA, NVIDIA, Mercedes-Benz, and GXO Logistics, Apptronik is set to revolutionize logistics, healthcare, and manufacturing through intelligent automation.
The humanoid robotics revolution is gaining momentum worldwide. Elon Musk envisions a future where AI-powered humanoids drive “quasi-infinite products and services.” Similarly, Brett Adcock of Figure predicts, “In our lifetime, you will see more humanoid robots than humans when you’re out and about.”
India is also making strides in this domain. Satish Shukla, co-founder of Addverb, revealed plans to launch its own humanoid, expecting mass adoption within a few years. As AI and robotics continue to evolve, humanoid co-workers and assistants are becoming a near-term reality
