The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has appointed Vibhor Jain as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective April 7, 2026. Jain, who previously served as Chief Operating Officer, had been leading the organization as acting CEO during a recent leadership transition.

With this appointment, ONDC formalizes its full-time leadership structure as it continues to scale India’s open digital commerce ecosystem. The government-backed initiative is designed to enable seamless transactions between buyers and sellers across platforms through an interoperable network, promoting inclusivity and competition in digital commerce.

Vibhor’s elevation comes at a crucial time as ONDC focuses on strengthening execution, expanding its ecosystem across sectors, and accelerating adoption nationwide.
