Dr Ritu Mittal Garg has joined Apollo Hospitals as Chief Executive Officer – Multi Regions, overseeing the North, Central, Western, and Eastern regions of India, along with strategic oversight of the Partner Hospitals network, effective November 2026.
Dr Ritu brings extensive experience in healthcare leadership, business growth, innovation, and strategic transformation. Prior to joining Apollo Hospitals, she served as Chief Growth & Innovation Officer at Fortis Healthcare, where she led the organisation’s growth agenda, revenue performance, new vertical development, and innovation initiatives.
During her tenure at Fortis, she also served as Zonal Director at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, leading hospital operations, business turnaround, and overall P&L responsibilities. Her earlier leadership roles included Head of Strategy and Medical Alliances, Head of Clinical Talent, Medical Programs and Academics, and Chief Patient Experience Officer.
In her new role, Dr Ritu will contribute to Apollo Hospitals’ continued growth and transformation, advancing its commitment to accessible, compassionate, and world-class healthcare.
