Shri Sanjay Khanna has assumed charge as Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), marking a significant leadership transition at one of India’s leading public sector oil and gas companies.

With over three decades of experience at BPCL, Khanna brings deep expertise in refinery operations, downstream business processes, and large-scale energy management. Known for his operational excellence and hands-on leadership style, he has played a key role in driving efficiency and innovation across the organization.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Director at BPCL and held the position of Executive Director at BPCL Kochi Refinery, where he contributed to critical projects and operational advancements. His extensive institutional knowledge and strategic insights are expected to guide BPCL through the rapidly evolving global energy landscape.
