Ram Vaidyanathan has joined Sobha Realty as Chief Sustainability Officer, marking a significant leadership addition as the company strengthens its commitment to sustainable growth and environmental stewardship.

A seasoned ESG and sustainability leader with more than 17 years of experience, Ram brings deep expertise in ESG strategy, climate risk management, science-based targets, responsible sourcing, circular economy initiatives, renewable energy adoption, and sustainability disclosures. Prior to joining Sobha Realty, he spent seven years at Godrej, where he played a pivotal role in advancing sustainability performance across multiple businesses.

Throughout his career, Ram has led the integration of globally recognized frameworks, including SBTi, GRI, and TCFD, while driving measurable environmental and social impact. His achievements include helping Godrej companies secure positions in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), earning CDP A-List recognition for Godrej Agrovet, and delivering significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, landfill waste, and energy consumption.

At Sobha Realty, Ram will lead the company’s sustainability roadmap, focusing on ESG excellence, climate action, resource efficiency, and long-term value creation aligned with global sustainability standards.
