Tata Power has appointed Deepak Kapoor as Additional Non-Executive, Independent Director, further strengthening the company’s leadership and governance framework as it advances its long-term growth and clean energy ambitions.
A highly respected business leader, Kapoor brings more than three decades of experience in audit, advisory, corporate governance, risk management, and strategic leadership. He is widely recognized for his tenure at PwC India, where he served as Chairman and Managing Director, playing a key role in expanding the firm’s advisory capabilities and industry presence across diverse sectors.
A Fellow Member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Kapoor has advised leading organizations in consumer goods, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, healthcare, media, and entertainment. His expertise spans governance, compliance, strategic transactions, and business transformation.
