Sughosh Nagendra has been appointed Chief Technology Officer at Karnataka Bank, a 102-year-old institution. In his new role, he will lead the bank’s technology direction, supporting its strategic priorities through innovation, modernisation, security and technology-driven transformation.
Sughosh brings extensive experience in enterprise IT, digital transformation, infrastructure, technology operations and banking technology. Prior to joining Karnataka Bank, he served as Chief Digital & Information Officer at Agilus Diagnostics, where he led technology and digital initiatives. He also held the role of IT Strategy & Technology Transformation at YES BANK and Group Head of Technology Operations at First Abu Dhabi Bank.
His earlier leadership positions include Chief Technology Officer at RBL Bank, Head of Technology & Production Operations at UBS, and Head of Technology, Infrastructure, Architecture & Operations at Allstate. He has also held technology leadership roles at Barclays and worked across HCL Technologies, Wipro Technologies and TCS.
