SML Isuzu Ltd has announced the appointment of Vinod Sahay as its new Executive Chairman. With more than two decades of leadership experience across the automotive industry, he brings proven expertise in strategy, operations, and business transformation.

Sahay has held several pivotal roles within the Mahindra Group and Tata Motors. His leadership journey includes serving as CEO of Mahindra Trucks & Buses Division, CEO of Mahindra Two Wheelers, and Business Head – Medium & Heavy Trucks at Tata Motors. He currently holds the position of President – Aerospace & Defence, Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment at Mahindra Group and is a member of the Group Executive Board.

Recognized among India’s Most Inspirational Business Leaders, Sahay has also collaborated with the World Economic Forum and the World Bank Group to help shape resilient global supply chains. An alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University, Symbiosis Institute of International Business, and Delhi University, he now takes on the responsibility of steering SML Isuzu Ltd toward innovation, sustainable growth, and market leadership.
