ProteanTecs Secures $51M Series D to Advance AI-Powered Chip Performance Optimization AI News

ProteanTecs, an Israel-based startup specializing in chip performance optimization, has raised $51 million in its Series D funding round led by IAG Capital, bringing its total capital raised to over $250 million. The round attracted strategic investments from global technology leaders including Arm Holdings, Samsung, Intel, MediaTek, Siemens, Porsche Automobil Holding SE, Zeev Ventures, and Koch Disruptive Technologies.

Founded in 2017 by former Mellanox executives, ProteanTecs has developed a breakthrough platform that embeds microscopic monitoring circuits directly into processors. These circuits generate rich telemetry data on critical parameters like heat, power, and signal integrity. Advanced AI algorithms then analyze billions of data points to uncover vulnerabilities, optimize energy efficiency, and detect potential flaws early in the design phase.

Unlike traditional EDA tools, ProteanTecs enables continuous chip health monitoring even post-deployment—empowering data centers, automotive systems, and consumer electronics to prevent failures before they occur. The fresh capital will fuel global expansion, product innovation, and new integrations across key industries.
