Tata Communications has elevated Narayana Rao Vallabhaneni to the role of Vice President & Global Business Unit Head, marking a significant leadership move as the organisation strengthens its global OTTs and hyperscalers business. In his elevated role, Narayana will lead end-to-end strategy, sales execution, and strategic alliances, focusing on revenue acceleration and large-scale digital infrastructure growth across global markets.

The elevation reflects Tata Communications’ continued focus on deepening hyperscaler and OTT partnerships and driving next-generation connectivity, cloud, AI/ML, and network transformation solutions. Narayana’s mandate includes P&L ownership, multi-million-dollar deal structuring, CXO engagement, and global team leadership.

Prior to this role, Narayana served as Global BU Head - OTTs & Hyperscalers and Global Lead Sales Solutions & Customer Success, where he played a pivotal role in expanding OTT and hyperscaler ecosystems worldwide.

Earlier, he spent eight years as Associate Vice President -Enterprise Sales (Global Top X), managing the company’s largest enterprise accounts across APAC, Europe, and the Americas. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Tata Teleservices, Airtel, and Net4 India Ltd.
