AI
IBM and Groq have announced a strategic go-to-market and technology partnership aimed at enabling enterprises to deploy agentic AI faster and more cost-effectively. Through this collaboration, Groq’s inference technology and GroqCloud will be integrated with IBM’s watsonx Orchestrate, providing clients with high-speed AI inference capabilities designed for real-world, mission-critical applications.
The partnership combines Groq’s ultra-fast LPU architecture, offering over 5X faster and more efficient inference than traditional GPUs, with IBM’s enterprise-grade orchestration and AI governance. Together, they enable organizations across sectors like healthcare, finance, retail, and manufacturing to scale AI agents from pilot to production with enhanced speed, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Additionally, Red Hat’s open-source vLLM technology will be integrated with Groq’s platform to streamline AI development, offering developers seamless inference orchestration, load balancing, and hardware acceleration. IBM Granite models will also be supported on GroqCloud, expanding flexibility and performance options for enterprise users.
With this partnership, IBM and Groq are redefining enterprise AI infrastructure, making it faster, smarter, and ready for the age of agentic AI.
