Geidea has appointed Manjunath K Suvarna as Head of Risk in the UAE, strengthening its focus on risk management, regulatory compliance and business governance as it expands its presence in the region.
Manjunath brings over 19 years of experience across the banking and payments industries, with expertise in enterprise risk management, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, operational controls and payment scheme requirements.
Before joining Geidea in December 2025, he served as Group Operational Risk and Control at Network International, where he worked on developing operational risk frameworks and key risk indicators to support management reporting.
He also held the position of AVP – FRM and Merchant Services at Worldline, an Atos company, overseeing fraud risk, merchant service operations and payment scheme compliance. Earlier, he worked at HDFC Bank as Manager – Acquiring Operations, managing reconciliation, chargebacks and fraud reporting.
In his new role, Manjunath will focus on strengthening risk management capabilities, supporting business expansion and embedding robust governance practices across Geidea’s UAE operations.
