OnFinance AI has appointed Vivek K Aggarwal as Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, strengthening its leadership in risk management, regulatory compliance and governance.
Vivek brings extensive experience across banking, operational risk management, IT governance, regulatory compliance, internal audit and third-party risk management. Before joining OnFinance AI in June 2026, he served as Executive Vice President & Head of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance at Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Previously, he held senior leadership positions at HDFC Bank and IDFC FIRST Bank, overseeing regulatory compliance, audit governance, vendor risk management and internal controls. He also served as Head of Group Internal Audit & Risk Management at Apollo International and held risk management roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and American Express.
Alongside his current role, Vivek is the Founder & Managing Partner of Gravitas Consulting & Advisory LLP, which focuses on AI governance, IT risk, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
His appointment highlights the growing importance of integrated risk and compliance frameworks as financial services organisations expand their adoption of AI and digital technologies.
