HCLTech has appointed Capt Sanjay Sharma as Vice President - Global Corporate Security and Global Security Head, strengthening the company’s focus on enterprise resilience, risk management, and global security governance. Based in India, Sanjay will lead HCLTech’s global security strategy, overseeing end-to-end security operations and aligning physical and cyber-physical security frameworks with business objectives across regions.

The appointment underscores HCLTech’s commitment to building robust, future-ready security capabilities that support business continuity and safeguard global operations. In his new role, Sanjay will work closely with global leadership, business units, and infrastructure teams to enhance security resilience across offices, delivery centers, and employee ecosystems worldwide.

Sanjay brings over 30 years of distinguished experience in corporate security and risk leadership. Prior to joining HCLTech, he served as Global Security Head at Wipro, where he was responsible for securing nearly 250,000 employees and facilities globally. His career also includes senior security leadership roles at Nestlé India (South Asia Region), GE Global Research, American Express, IBM, and Standard Chartered Bank, along with a distinguished service record as a Captain in the Indian Army.
