Andhra Pradesh to Establish India’s First Quantum Reference Facility at Amaravati Quantum Valley

In a landmark move to strengthen India’s quantum computing ecosystem, the Andhra Pradesh government has announced the establishment of the country’s first Quantum Reference Facility at the Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV). The facility, to be developed with an investment of ₹40 crore, will focus on testing, benchmarking, and characterisation of quantum components laying the groundwork for future indigenous quantum computer manufacturing.
