Automotive Research Association of India appoints Manoj Desai as Chief Information Security Officer Leadership

Manoj brings technical expertise across automotive cybersecurity, electric and hybrid electric vehicles, automotive electronics and vehicle testing systems. His areas of specialisation include automotive cybersecurity standards such as AIS 189, AIS 190, UN R155 and UN R156, along with EV chargers, traction batteries, e-motors, telematics and vehicle tracking systems.

His technical experience also spans EMI/EMC testing of vehicles, automotive electronic components, consumer electronics, and data acquisition and control systems using NI LabWindows CVI and NI LabVIEW.

In his new role, Manoj’s expertise will be valuable as connected vehicles, electric mobility and automotive technologies continue to evolve. His appointment highlights the growing importance of robust cybersecurity frameworks and secure technology infrastructure across India’s automotive ecosystem.
