B Mukherjee has been appointed Joint President & Head HR for the Mining & Minerals Business at Hindalco Industries Limited, part of the Aditya Birla Group. In this role, he will lead HR strategy, workforce transformation, and employee engagement initiatives across Hindalco’s mining and minerals operations, reinforcing the company’s position as a global metals leader.

Mukherjee brings over two decades of exemplary experience within the Aditya Birla Group, having previously served as Senior Vice President & Head HR – Mining & Minerals Business at Hindalco. His career includes leadership roles at Grasim Industries Limited and multiple assignments across Hindalco, where he contributed to strategic HR planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness in large-scale industrial operations.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development from Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development and is recognized for his expertise in strategic HR leadership and driving workforce excellence.
