Vijoy Basu has joined State Street as Managing Director, AI, within the Global Delivery team, bringing with him more than 27 years of experience in technology leadership, digital transformation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.

A recognized GCC, technology, and AI leader, Basu has built an impressive career driving large-scale business and technology transformations for Fortune 200 organizations. His experience includes 16 years with GE, where he was part of the prestigious Digital Technology Leadership Program (DTLP), as well as leadership roles focused on enterprise-wide data, analytics, AI, and technology platforms. Throughout his career, he has successfully built and scaled Global Capability Centers (GCCs), led strategic digital initiatives, and partnered with C-suite executives to deliver multimillion-dollar business outcomes.

Basu is widely recognized for his contributions to AI, machine learning, and data-driven innovation. His achievements include GE’s Global Vice Chairman Lucite Award, multiple GE Stock Option awards, a global Microsoft AI and ML scholarship, and more than 20 industry recognitions, including CIO100, DataIQ100, AI Visionary, and AI Changemaker awards.

At State Street, he will focus on advancing AI-driven innovation, strengthening global delivery capabilities, and accelerating digital transformation across the organization.
