Sachin Katti has taken on a new leadership role at OpenAI as Vice President, Compute Strategy & GPT-Infra, reinforcing the company's focus on building the next generation of AI infrastructure.
In his new position, he will lead OpenAI's compute strategy, driving initiatives to expand compute capacity, optimize infrastructure economics, accelerate deployment, and maximize returns on large-scale infrastructure investments. He will also oversee the GPT-Infra organization, leveraging AI to solve complex infrastructure challenges spanning semiconductors, distributed systems, networking, and cloud platforms.
