Suzlon Group has appointed Ashok Ramachandran as President – India Business and Senior Managerial Personnel, effective June 4, 2026, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates growth in India's renewable energy sector.

Ashok brings more than two decades of leadership experience across the energy, industrial products, manufacturing, and vertical mobility sectors. Throughout his career, he has successfully led large-scale business transformation, operational excellence, market expansion, and growth initiatives across India, Southeast Asia, and Australia.

Prior to joining Suzlon Group, Ashok served as Chief Operating Officer and Board Member at JSW Energy Ltd, where he played a key role in advancing the company's growth strategy and operational expansion. Earlier, he spent a significant part of his career with the Schindler Group, including serving as CEO & President – Schindler India & South Asia, overseeing manufacturing, operations, research and development, and business growth across key regional markets.
