Shell has announced the appointment of Asha P. Pillai as CFO, Shell Recharge Solutions and Finance Manager eMobility Tech, marking another significant milestone in her distinguished career with the global energy leader.

With nearly two decades of experience at Shell, Asha has built an impressive track record in finance leadership, digital transformation, strategic planning, commercial finance, business operations, and energy transition initiatives. Prior to this appointment, she served as Global Planning and Appraisal Manager - Information & Digital Technology, where she managed a $4 billion investment portfolio and led global teams focused on operational excellence, organizational transformation, and strategic growth.

Her extensive leadership journey at Shell includes key roles such as CFO - Hazira Group of Companies, Commercial Finance Advisor - Digital, Retail Finance Manager - India, and Senior Finance Advisor - Projects and Technologies. Throughout her career, she has successfully driven finance modernization, business integration, analytics-led decision-making, and commercial growth strategies.

Before joining Shell, Asha worked with Whirlpool India in Corporate Planning & Analysis. In her new role, she is expected to play a pivotal role in accelerating Shell’s global eMobility growth and advancing the Shell Recharge Solutions business worldwide.
