Allianz has announced the appointment of Pallavi Shome as Global Head of the Group Finance Excellence Center, reinforcing its commitment to driving finance transformation and operational excellence across its global footprint.

With over 30 years of cross-industry experience spanning financial services, telecom, operations, and technology, Pallavi is known for her strategic vision and people-centric approach to building efficient, scalable systems. Before joining Allianz, she served as Chief Operating Officer, India Engineering at BNY, leading global vendor partnerships and expense management for the bank’s technology division.

Her career includes leadership roles at British Telecom, Fidelity Investments, Standard Chartered Bank, and HCL Corporation, giving her a deep understanding of managing complex, multinational operations.

A certified Agile Leader, Six Sigma and COPC professional, and Associate Certified Coach (ICF), Pallavi also holds an Independent Director certification from IICA.

Her appointment reflects Allianz’s continued focus on leadership that bridges finance, technology, and transformation; ensuring agility, efficiency, and future readiness.
