UBS has elevated Puneet Vyas to Global Head of Group Operations Technology, recognising his extensive experience in financial technology, investment banking systems, regulatory technology and global technology leadership.
Before his elevation, Puneet served as Global Head – Investment Bank Operations and Regulatory Technology at UBS. During his nearly 18-year association with the organisation, he has held several leadership positions, including Global Head – Investment Bank Client Life Cycle Technology, Regional Lead – Investment Bank Technology India and Regional Lead – Regulatory Technology India.
Puneet began his career at UBS as an Engineer – Equities Technology and has worked across Hyderabad, Singapore, Hong Kong and Pune. Previously, he served as Vice President at Bear Stearns Companies in London and spent more than nine years at CMC Ltd. He holds qualifications in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and Electronics Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
In his expanded role, Puneet will lead Group Operations Technology, leveraging his expertise in banking systems, regulatory technology and global operations to advance UBS's technology priorities.
